The Potter and the Clay

Isaiah 64:8 (NKJV)
But now, O LORD, You are our Father;
We are the clay, and You our Potter;
And all we are the work of Your hand.

Notice how God is addressed by Isaiah: O LORD, Our Father and Potter. He is the Everlasting Creator who shapes us into the image of His Son Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18; Romans 8:29). God is bringing many sons to glory through Christ the Captain of our salvation who suffered, died on the cross of God's wrath and arose from the grave to live forevermore (Hebrews 2:10; Revelation 1:18). We are the clay, the work of the Potter's hand and He is making us fit to be in His presence as the New Jerusalem forever which is Christ's Bride without spot, wrinkle, or blemish (Ephesians 5:27; Revelation 21:1-5).
Thank You, Father!
