Isaiah 9:6-7, The Everlasting Kingdom of Christ

For unto us a Child is born,

The Names of God

We are considering the Names of God during our Sunday Morning preaching time. As we consider the Names of God we will learn who God is and how He reveals Himself to us. In Matthew 6:9 Jesus teaches us to, "Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.'" We are to set apart as holy and high the name of our God. Let us heed the third commandment found in Exodus 20:7, "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain." Let us honor God in our thoughts, words, and deeds. Let us glorify Him as the Everlasting God who created all things. May God bless you as you walk with Him.
